TV reality star accused of animal cruelty after painting pony for daughter’s birthday

TV reality star Farrah Abraham has been accused of animal cruelty by followers after dressing up her daughter’s miniature pony.

Farrah’s daughter Sophia turned eight this week, and to celebrate, the Teen Mom star threw her little girl a Beauty and the Beast and My Little Pony themed slumber party.

The sleepover featuring an extravagant cake, pampering treatments for Sophia and her pals, and a Belle impersonator on a faux red carpet.

However, Farrah also decided to dress up Sophia’s miniature pony Starburst, who she received for Christmas.

The white pony had pink and purple neon hearts drawn on its coat and had the colours streaked through its mane, while she also wore pink leg warmers.

Farrah, 25, shared a picture of the horse to Instagram, and was instantly flooded with outrage.

One person wrote: “That’s animal abuse she should be taken away from u!”, while another added: “That poor horse you’re a horrid selfish human being!”

Another comment read: “A horse isn’t a colouring book”, while a follower added: “Horses do not belong in houses.”

However, others defended Farrah, saying that the paint was most likely pet-friendly.

The former Celebrity Big Brother housemate seemed to shrug off the criticism and continued to post pics from her daughter’s party.
